Seeking an experienced Controller with a proven record of excellence in their field to manage all financial aspects of the company. The ideal candidate will have strong business sensibilities and can lead the company’s financial day to day operations.
Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Duties:

Strong accounting skills and Knowledge of Quickbooks

Responsible for all aspects of the financial systems and must be hands on working closely with billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and insurance matters.

Responsible for maintaining, creating and implementing policies and procedures that document and support the company’s processes including preparation of monthly financial statements.
Pay commensurate with experience.
The applicant will work out of the Blanc & Bailey Construction Inc. location in Bondville, Vermont and must be willing to travel to job sites throughout the surrounding areas.

Duties:

Installing foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.

Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim.
-
Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, framework, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings, using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools.
-
Completes dry wall installation, to include hanging, mudding, and finishing.
-
Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
-
Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
-
Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace.
-
Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
-
Cleans up worksite debris.
-
Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment.
Additional Responsibilities

Proper tracking of project time utilizing construction software.

Capable of receiving and following instructions and communicating with co-workers.

Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety.

All responsibilities will be carried out in a positive and professional manner.
BBCI requires all Carpenter and Subcontractor staff to be available for a 40-hour work week. Must have valid driver’s license and carpenter hand tools.
Carpenter and Subcontract compensation based on experience and performance.

This position is responsible for effective and efficient management of 2 shops, fleet maintenance, grounds maintenance, and building maintenance. Some work is hands on and other is coordination and oversight. The position would prioritize keeping the field operation moving as it relates to tools & equipment needed with all other duties performed secondary. This person requires a well-organized mindset with a high attention to detail and the ability to think and adapt on the fly.
The Maintenance Superintendent is responsible for the following:
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to develop and maintain maintenance records.
- Overall management of all buildings.
- Repair & maintain small engines.
- Repair & maintain hand tools.
- Support field operations as needed.
- Strong trouble shooting skills.
- Maintain inventory controls.
- Welding is a plus.
- Medical cards is a plus.
- CDL is a plus.
- All equipment must be maintained to OSHA standards.
Additional Requirements:
Possess the ability to communicate in an effective & positive manner.
Willing to work along side a highly motivated team.
Support all project Superintendents.
Represent the organization in a positive manner.

BBCI requires all supervision staff to be available for a 45-hour work week. Company, project and/or customer emergencies could result in after hour responsibilities.

We are seeking a skilled residential painter to work on high-end homes our Team is remodeling and building. Responsibilities include matching paint and stain, preparing surfaces, and applying paint and or stain to these surfaces. This is a full-time year-round position.
