We've done our best to answer them, and identified a few things you may want to figure out before we meet to discuss your project, that may speed up the process.

What are average costs per square foot for...

Kitchen and bath renovation?

When doing structural work, can I still occupy the residence?

It depends on exactly the type of work being done. In some cases, insurance dictates that the building cannot be occupied when structural work is being done.  In most cases, however, your home can be occupied during construction.  There will most likely be temporary disruption in heat, water and sewer if the foundation is being replaced.

What type of insurance is necessary?

Blanc & Bailey Construction carries Workers’ Compensation Insurance and General Liability Insurance. As a property owner, we require that you carry fire and other builder’s risk insurance listing the Contractor as additional insured.

If financing is needed, what will the bank require?

It depends on the project type and the bank you are working with.

However, at a minimum your construction budget will be required to get you started.

What should I bring to the first meeting?

Your project requirements, ideas, products of interest, inspiration photos, and budget range.

Who submits permit applications?

Blanc and Bailey Construction can take care of all paperwork having to do with your building project.
